October 2019. As of October I am serving as the new Faculty of Education Senator at the University of Manitoba Senate for a three-year term. Senate is University's senior academic governing body that meets once per month with agendas and minutes posted publicly on Senate website. Its membership include the Chancellor, the President and the Vice-Presidents of the University, Deans of Faculties, Directors of Schools, Faculty members elected by Faculty and School Councils, students elected by the students and representatives of the Board of Governors and the Alumni Association. My role is to participate in the meetings and report back on the discussions to the Faculty Council.
