May 28-30, 2017. Ryerson University in Toronto hosted a successful Congress and Conference of Canadian Society for the Study of Higher Education (CSSHE). Together with her collaborators Emma Sabzalieva (OISE/University of Toronto) and Soon Young Jang (OISE/University of Toronto) Dr. Tamtik chaired and co-presented at two sessions within Internationalization of Higher Education track. The first presentation focused on international legitimacy-building in Estonia and Kazakhstan, the second presentation examined language issues in higher education policies in the Baltic States. Dr. Tamtik serves as a Track Chair and Board Liaison for CSSHE's Internationalization of Higher Eduation. She also served as a committee member for CSSHE's George L. Geis Award for best Doctoral Dissertation. Congratulations to Dr. Olivier Bégin-Caouette for winning the award!
